Oikein mahtavaa uutta vuotta kaikille!!!! 2013 on ollut loistava vuosi mutta -14 tulee olee vielä parempi eiks niin ;-) Muistakaa pitää hauskaa ja juhlia tänään oikein kunnolla! Tänään mennään simppelillä musta+kulta värimaailmalla. Mutta ei sen suurempia puheita koska kamulit ja kerubi odottaa!

Lämmin halaus

Joulunaika on kyllä sitten aivan ihanaa! Edes tää kamala sadesää ei vienyt pois joulun tunnelmaa :-) Oon rentoutunut hyvien leffojen ja kirjojen parissa, juonut paljon teetä, syönyt jouluruokia ja nähnyt ihmisiä. Eilisistä aamun pikkutunneille venyneistä tapsan tansseista huolimatta olin aamulla kello 12 valmis lähtemään alennusmyyntien ihmeelliseen maailmaan. Pitää olla tehokas näes ;) Niistä ostoksista lisää myöhemmin!

Tunnelma, ihmiset, kynttilät, lämpö, hyvä ruoka, perhe, tuoksut ja musiikki. Niistä on ihana joulu tehty ♥

I'm gonna miss you when I'm gone

Loma alkoi!! Mie oon niin ilonen, että pääsen vihdoin vähän hengähtämään. Viimeset pari viikkoa on olleet aivan järettömän hektiset ja rupee tää univaje jo tuntumaan kropassakin. Myö vietettiin eilen pikkujouluja möksällä ja oli ihan mukava ilta. Nyt sitten rauhallisen loman viettoon ja kuuman glögin sekä leffan kattelun pariin! Semmonen juttu vielä, että sain miun UCAS-hakemuksen vihdoin matkaan! Nyt jänskättää, että tuleeko yliopistoista tarjouksia vaiko ei.. Odottakaamme siis.. :) Tässä on vielä kuvia viimeviikkoisesta lyseon yöstä. Teemana oli alamaailma ja ilta meni kyllä tosi nopeesti! Lukion loppuminen alkaa tuntumaan aika läheiseltä ja mietittiin just, että meillä abeilla on noin kuukaus normaalia koulua enää jäljellä. woah..! Miulle tulee kamala ikävä teitä rakkaat ihmiset ♥

Hei vaan! Joten miulla siis oli tuossa tuo kysely menossa ja enemmistön toiveesta mie nyt vaihan takas tähän suomen kieleen.. :) Tulen varmaan muutenkin kirjoittelemaan ensi kesänä (ja sen jälkeen) enemmänkin asiaa ulkomailta Suomeen päin, joten näin ehkä parempi.

Peppermint winter

I looove this kind of days! The whole school had a day off today. I got to sleep 'till noon and then I just made some sweet oatmeal pancakes with fruits and syrup♥ I just came home a while go after doing a little christmas shopping. Just perfect ☺

burn me with fire, drown me with rain..

I asked for snow and I sure got what I asked for! It's been snowing all day long.. These photos were taken just before I headed to work this morning. My new jacket is from H&M and I absolutely love it. It looks like me, it's comfy and warm enough for some minus degrees. I'll be working throughout the weekend but it's fine since we've got a day off on Monday :-) I am really enjoying this time of the year for some reason. I've never been a winter person but this year feels kinda different. I can feel the change in the air.. There's about a month left of the year 2013 and it has been a great year for me but I know that the next year will be even better ☺☺ It's just so exciting! But anyway it's time for me to go and get myself ready for tonight.. time to dance again.. haha

hot chocolate & gingerbread

One more exam to go and my second last exam week is officially over! It's getting colder and colder every day and therefore I've been wearing a lot of layers and woolly socks (♥).I haven't really had long days at school any more, which is nice since the sun goes down at four.. on the other hand I love the fact that I can start burning candles finally! Candles and hot tea just are these warm lovely things that I love about winter :-)

And hey guys! There's a poll in the side bar! I'm thinking of maybe changing my language back to Finnish but I want to know what you think!

Everybody wants to dance

Hey there! The second last exam week has just begun and it's really just hitting me now that I only have two months left of high school. I'm really excited about the future but at the same time these years have been, after all, amazing and I just want to hold on to this last year of my "childhood". When I leave this city it will be the end of one chapter in my life and the start of a new one.

Yesterday I registered into UCAS to apply for universities in Scotland. I also finally wrote the first version of my personal statement for the application so I'm making progress. (after months of procrastination.. :D)
My plan is to work as an au-pair next summer and then hopefully move to Scotland for the studies, if I get accepted of course. The other option is to work through the spring and summer in Finland. We'll see what happens ☺

We had a nice girls night out with Sanni last weekend! It was so nice to spend some quality time with her since we used to hang out a lot years and years ago! We've known each other since kindergarten. So we had some wine and snacks and then headed to Kerubi to dance and have some fun. :)

Hey guys! Long time no see!! I don't know what's going on with my computer but I haven't been able to upload any photos here :( (I'm now using my brother's computer while he's away x)) Anyway I just came back to Finland yesterday after spending the most amazing week in England with my dear friend Emmi. I flew to London Gatwick airport last Friday. I traveled for almost 18 hours but it was nothing compared to the joy I felt when I finally saw Emmi after three months apart! We took a train to London early next morning and went to Borough market. We bought some mulled wine which was super delicious!!! It tastes a bit like Finnish Glögi and reminded me of Christmas. We spent three days in London and let me just say that they were physically really exhausting days but I loved every minute! Brick Lane was adorable with its cute vintage shops and super stylish people! I also loved walking around in Covent Garden and all the nice cafes we went to (which we did  a LOT :D). We even went to the Catching Fire movie premiere in Leicester square but didn't really see anything from where we were. It was still cool to see all the stars live even if it was only from a screen. This as my second trip to London was a bit different but as wonderful as my last one! I simply love London. BUT London wasn't even the highlight of my last week. On Tuesday the day of Vampire Weekend concert in Birmingham had finally arrived. It was held at the National Indoor Arena and I was expecting a long queue when we arrived there about three hours before the doors were to open. It turned out that British people don't do that and it hadn't occurred to me that the concert was during the school week so obviously everybody was still at school. We were a but confused at first but then we met some other people who were coming to the concert and finally found the right spot to queue. We were one of the first people there. While waiting for the doors to open we had enough time to chat with these people and (hi there if you guys are reading this :D) they were such a nice company! With new friends the whole concert experience was even better and it was definitely one of the best nights of my life (plus we were in the front row)! Noah and the whale and Vampire weekend were super awesome live and I'm sure I'll go see them again if I ever get the chance. We spend the next day at Birmingham doing a little shopping and sitting at cafes. We were kinda tired so we took earlier train back to Coventry. We flew back to Finland together in the Thursday evening and stayed the night at Helsinki airport (which truly was a weird experience haha!).All in all I enjoyed my little trip and I wouldn've wanted to leave the UK but I'm sure I'll go back next summer at latest!
